Responsible for the supervision of the Fitness Center during regular working hours. This includes supervising daily operations, the facility, and student associates. The positon requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. Supervisors are expected to maintain an awareness of potential problems while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The student associate position is an integral part of the department. They support the mission of TAMUCT, the Division of Student Affairs, and Campus Recreation. Primarily working in the Fitness Center and Human Performance Lab, they are responsible for ensuring a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for Campus Recreation members and the TAMUCT campus community.
